Lol
This episode was really stretching. The guy made such an obvious slip up, it was really anticlimactic. As for Haibaras envy, it was kinda funny, but I still ship Haibara and Conan even though it wont happen. Ran doesnt have any personality, aside loving Shinichi and knowing karate.
It's okay, she has 800 episodes to build one.
That’s kinda her as a damsel In distress
Lol
I thought Conan would mention him getting upset when the kids were using the boat earlier that day or something. But murder cases during canon events tend to be a second thought.
Ran is kinda a damsel in distress
Conan was just sitting there, not doing anything while literally in the middle of a game of hide and seek WHEN HES SEEKING!!??! Like I'd get it if he was just hiding, but no he was seeking, that's just rude
Sometimes I hate this show
I swear Gosho doesn't know how 7 year olds act and it's kinda obvious
6:03 !:(&:!4:/@-!_(;!"? They keep on implying that Haibara likes Conan so much it has to be true. The dolphin is Ran, the sea is Conan, and she is the shark, right. She is so overdramatic about her silly little unrequited crush on Conan it's so funny
21:01 He needed a whole free hand just to hold Genta!?;+
26:45 She knows him so well <3
Ok so the phone call thing was just a whole coincidence?? That's kinda lackluster :/
During the demonstration thing the water should've just soaked into the sand and not stay on top of it?? Like there isn't enough water in the bucket to fill that whole thing all the way
The after credits scene 🥺🥺 development!!
I have mixed feelings about this episode. The stuff at the beginning and at the restaurant with Conan and Ran was just weird and the case itself was pretty eh, but on the other hand there were some nice CoAi moments and Haibara development.
I know CoAi will never be canon and that ShinRan will forever be the main couple, but perhaps I can allow myself to be a little miffed that they chose a boring (imo) childhood friends to lovers trope when Conan and Haibara have such an interesting dynamic and incredible chemistry (yes, pun intended). I swear it's the show's fault for constantly implying that Haibara likes Conan and making them mesh so well together. The woes of a CoAi shipper...
did you happen to forget the moment when Conan's floating there... and suddenly... a girl's bikini bottom clad bottom PLOPS down right on his face? :D bwahahhabwahahah! :D even Genta gets in on the joke... 'which one of those two did you fancy hmm?' then Conan points out a girl who's more his type and she turns around n it's Ran!? bwahahahah! :D :D
seawater and beach sand are a little weird when it comes to saturation. it all depends on how moist the sand is to begin with and how densely packed it is. Ayumi fiddles around with the sand a little in the basin making it trickle through her hands. so, you think it is loosely just tossed into the basin. but, when the Prof digs the little hole to put the starfish in, the hole stays open. if the sand was completely dry... the hole would have collapsed inwards slightly instead of staying open.
silica sand like that, you can tell because it's very light tan to white, is made of nigh on microscopic grains. the waves beat on the sand constantly, rubbing it against itself breaking larger pieces into smaller and smaller and smaller ones over thousands of years. when you add water to a bucket of sand at the beach what happens? some of the water soaks into the sand and starts to cause it to compact under the water's weight. this causes a wet/dry/compressed zone in layers in the sand. the top layer is soaked, the lower layer is pressed down, and the lowest one is nearly dry. that middle layer becomes like a 'seal' keeping the lowest layer dry-ish because the sand grains have been pressed closely together. this doesn't let the water pass through and around the grains. then the rest of the seawater will sit atop the sand.
also, seawater itself is a solution. it already has many minerals and salts dissolved in it. so the ocean reaches a saturation point itself earlier than 'potable/clean water'. the molecules of water just can't carry around any more 'stuff' than they already are, salt, minerals bla bla bla, and the sand particles won't float/dissolve into the ocean.
😗you guys with all your smarts I need to watch the episode twice and listen carefully and watch seriously to figure stuff out. I always get a headache.
yep, Aoyama has a brother, he's a scientist. when our master of mystery manga needs a hand with a trick... he calls in his brother. ;)
I thought he was a doctor? Well, anyways, seems like his (Aoyama) whole family is smart.
i read his brother works in one of the scientific fields, which one i haven't discovered so far.
Im sure that 7 old dont care about sex yet but this is japan so anything goes there since 99% of males are pedos and womans are shotacons what a shithole
Conan is mentally 17, so he would be attracted to them
I think about Genta and mitsuhiko
Lol
genta weighs 100 pounds
To be fair there’s nothing wrong with that but I’m surprised haibara never kissed Conan once on the cheek
alright AI tells to conan already that u like him lmao
Lol
I had typed alot. When i slepts my disqus logged out and the comment got deleted. Lol .
But its nice to see haibara act like a bored teenager/child when she was alone at the beach. And its nice to see her finally talking to ran.that will be important later
im just happy. This is one of the more wholesome episodes.
15:07, lol Yokomizo being like 'where's Conan, he's going to do something', only to find him messing around the body again. 15:17, I don't know why he's so shocked, Conan does this everytime. Yokomizo must be really strong, he lifted all of the detective boys at the same time, 21:03.
their total weight is 199 pounds. (not counting Haibara)
Haibara is soooo pretty in the after credits scene!
And here I was wondering how the hell Conan is going to proof it.
The trick itself was simple, the answered call was a bad red herring, but finding proof was literally impossible. Conan simply got lucky that he slipped up.
I guess it's not courageous to kill someone in order to protect someone else, risking your life in the process
Theres a difference. He killed him when he wasn’t an active threat. I wasn’t planning to kill anyone. Maybe he thought of stoppimg what heed done and regretted it (unlikley) but this still doesnt give him the right to kill him
Haibara being dramatic is sorta funny but also sad since she knows Shinchi wont look to any other women except Ran
She is being a bit "woe is me", and although it's sad, at least she knows that she will never have a chance. She can give up and enjoy her friendship with Conan instead of forcing something that would never work out.
PART 2
well, nothing to say for part 2 really...
oh yeah- i'm sorry but i have to be real. that killer had every right to execute the murder, like his motive was worth it, that guy was ruining the environment, helping the extinction of the fish, killed their fathers, was not sorry about it, killed the witness of his murder AND admitted it also????????? DESERVED.
also, the scenery in this episode is 10/10 top tier, i watched this in remastered and i gotta say: one of the best animations EVER.
is this really the 1st time Haibara talks to Ran??? i thought they spoke before... but yeah i hope haibara stops feeling jealous about Ran and be nice to her 😭
PART 1
Conan is being naughtyyyy at the beach... i'm so enraged because if Ran had even a simple interaction with a guy, Shinichi AND kogoro would lose their shit BUT they always get a pass to flirt/thirst over every other girl they meet..... the double standards...
GENTAAAA??!? YOU TOO OMGGGG
RAN LOOKS SO GOOD IN THAT SUIT AND CAP WAITTTTT
HAIBARA LOOKS SO PISSED TO SEE RAN THERE 8@&#-5#
AND WHAT THAT DEATH GLANCE OMGGG???
not to be a creep, but haibara is so hot too but is she really sick or is she doing it in purpose to get conan's attention???
sharks and dolphins.... what are you talking about haibara??? oh wait- is she comparing herself to an evil dark shark that fled from its habitat to where the pure innocent dolphins are and realized she doesn't fit there??? or is she insinuating that everyone will be captivated by dolphins but not sharks thus she doesn't stand a chance with shinichi????? wait- so she's really jealous??? HAIBARA WHAT ARE YOU HINTING AT?
but also, did conan really not get this??? i thought he was super smart or sumn?
NOT AYUMI STIRRING THE POT $&#(#)#
KIDS ARE SO OUTTA HAND-
Conan doesn't always get what is right in front of his face. lol. He was unsure of Ran liking him for the longest time even though Ran admitted it to him in like the 2nd episode.
yeah he can be so dumb yet solve the craziest most complicated cases-
Really took a while for hibari to talk to ran huh ?
Episodes 243-245 are probably the weakest episodes
Surprised how long this episode is
Surprised to see the detective boys ,ran and Sonoko here
Read this if you have time.
There is an exception for me in this manga!
my guess: correct. my clue: time
Yeah I kinda got it right but it’s more of how he died
03:26 haha, Sonoko realized Conan is a murder magnet
